Admission Arrangements
1. When will 2023-2024 school year start? 2023-2024 學年什麼時候開始？
Our 2023-2024 school year is scheduled to commence on 14 August 2023. 2023-2024學年將計劃於 2023 年 8 月 14 日開學。
According to the EDB guidelines, preschool students must be 2 years old when attending school, and K1 students must be 2 years and 8 months old. 根據教育局指引 : 上學時，幼兒院學生必須年滿 2 歲，幼稚園K1 學生必須年滿 2 歲零 8 個月。
2. Is there any cut-off date for application submission? 收表截止日期
There is no deadline for application submission. However, interviews held in November cannot be guaranteed for applications submitted after Saturday, October 22, 2022. 我們沒有提交申請表的期限。然而，在十月二十二日(星期六)後提交的申請則不能保證在十一月面試。
3. Will I be notified if my application is received? 申請確認
Once we receive an application, we will send the Applicant a confirmation letter with an application number within one week. We cannot arrange an interview with anyone without an application number. Please check with us at 2440-3088 if you do not receive a confirmation letter one week after your application submission.
Please note that applicants of age for school admission will be given priority for interviews. Therefore, please be reminded that some applicants may not have a chance to be interviewed. However, the $40 application fee is not required who are not of age for school submission until an interview is given. In the middle of May 2023, our school may arrange for another round of interviews for younger applicants according to the student enrolment situation. We will notify appropriate applicants if such interviews can be arranged.

4. What do I need to include with my application? 申請入學所需之文件
Along with the application form, please prepare the following for your application submission : 請將入學申請表格連同以下資料一同遞交 :
a. One photograph is attached to the Application Form. 附相片乙張於入學報名表上。
b. Photocopy of Birth Certificate. 出生証明書副本。
c. Photocopy of Immunization Record (with the cover page). 免疫注射記錄副本(包括封面)。
d. Four stamped self-addressed envelopes(of which 3 envelopes are in sizes 9″ x 4″ with a $2.2 stamp and 1 official envelope in a size of 5.8″ x 8.3″ with the equivalent value of $4.4 stamps). 四個回郵信封 (包括三個附上2.2元郵票的4”x 9”信封以及一個附上4.4元郵票的5.8” x 8.3”公文信封。)
5. How will the interviews be conducted? 面試形式
Children will be interviewed individually and as a group. Nursery applicants will be interviewed, accompanied by parents. We request the presence of both parents at the interview. Grandparents and domestic helpers are not appropriate for accompanying the nursery applicant to the interview. 面試形式包括個別面試及小組活動、觀察。幼兒院申請人可由家長陪同面試。學校希望父母其中一方能夠出席面試，祖父母和家庭傭工並不適合陪同申請人作面試。
6. What are the priorities and criteria for acceptance? 取錄準則及優先次序
Criteria for acceptance : 取錄準則 :
a. Applicant’s performance during interview 申請人面試時之表現
b. Parents’ support and understanding of the school mission and curriculum 家長對學校理念和課程的理解和支持
c. Communication during interview 面試時的溝通
Priorities for acceptance are as follows : 優先次序如下:
a. Age-appropriateness for school 適齡入學
b. Mother / Father is a current staff member 父/母為該校員工
c. Brother / Sister is a current student 兄/姊為本校學生
d. Brother / Sister is a graduate of Sunkids 兄/姊為本校畢業生
e. Proximity 就近入學
Priorities for class switching before school starts : 未入學前安排調班考慮之優先次序:
a. Scores received during the interview 面試分數
b. Mother / Father is a current staff member 父/母為該校員工
c. Brother / Sister is a current student 兄/姊為本校學生
Please take note that once school starts, class switching is determined by a lucky draw. 請垂注在學校開學後，調班將以抽籤形式決定。

Arrangement for Notification of Application Results 通知學位申請結果及安排
1. When will the results be known? 申請結果
We will notify acceptance results by email starting Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Accepted students must complete the registration between Wednesday, 16 November 2022, and Saturday, 19 November 2022.
Please note that those on the waiting list and those not accepted will be notified by email. These emails will be sent out once all registrations for those who are accepted are completed.
我們將從 2022 年 11 月 15 日星期二開始通過電子郵件通知錄取結果。
被錄取的學生必須在 2022 年 11 月 16 日星期三至 2022 年 11 月 19 日星期六之間完成註冊。

2. When is the registration date? 註冊日期:

3. What do I need to bring to complete the registration? 註冊所需文件
a. Retainer fee of $970 for a half-day class or $1,570 for a whole-day class is required.註冊時必須出示錄取通知及繳交 $970半日班或$1,570 全日班留位費。
b. Applicant’s birth certificate 申請人出生證明文件
c. The confirmation letter issued to the Applicant containing the application reference number. 附有申請編號的確認信
d. The Email acceptance message 電郵取錄確認信息
4. Will I be notified if my child is not being accepted? 如不被取錄者之安排
All applicants being interviewed will receive an Email notification for being accepted, rejected, or on the waiting list. 我們會發電郵到所有接受面試之申請人，無論他們是被取錄，不被取錄或在後補名單內。
