Communication Methods

Communication Methods

We believe that we should communicate with our children based on two communication methods. Our staff received training based on the following methods:

Non-violent Communication
Non-violent communication is a simple yet powerful method for communicating in a way that meets everyone’s needs. It not only helps transform judgment and criticism into understanding and connection, but also develop relationships based upon mutual understanding.

P.E.T. (Parent Effectiveness Training)
P.E.T. is a proven parenting program which teaches parents how to communicate more effectively with kids and offer step-by-step advice to resolve family conflicts so everybody wins. The timeless methods of P.E.T. have immediate results: less fighting, fewer tantrums and lies, no need for punishment.
